A leading military veteran’s non-profit, the Paul Ehline Memorial Ride is thrilled to announce the successful completion of several past Paul Ehline Rides’ in San Bernardino and in Houston, TX. The Ride is leading the way to increase clinical trial accessibility for vets and to get these military veterans legal assistance to cover their injuries. Riding enthusiasts and experienced riders get a chance to support families dealing with service-related illnesses, and the veteran community gets to continue with public service.

Launching Off With Original Leathernecks Motorcycle Club International

Leading all of the vets riding that day in a place of honor are expected to be the LMCI bikers. But all bikers and even non-bikers are welcome. This next event will be held on May 13, 2023, and is expected to be a resounding success, bringing together motorcycle enthusiasts and military vets from all over the region to commemorate the legacy of USMC Sergeant Paul Ehline. Local Harley Davidson dealers are also being sought out for a bike raffle, so this Paul Ehline Memorial Ride could be far bigger than the last few years, even the Marine Corps birthday event they threw in Texas with several local celebrities to help fight cancer and provide help diagnosing service-related illnesses.

The Memorial Motorcycle Ride is back again this year on May 13, 2023, and it’s bigger than before. Veterans suffering are not alone. PVA, the Special Forces Association, as well as friends and family members, are all participating in the Paul Ehline, Sgt USMC Memorial Ride. At this event, we will raise awareness about service-related cancers veterans and their families suffer while stationed at Marine Corps Air Station El Toro and many other military bases across the United States. We are expected to have a mystery congressman or senator show as well. So bring your questions if you want to know more about Marines suffering from cancer who served at El Toro Air Station and other military bases, including Hawaii.

Who Was Paul Ehline and Why The Paul Ehline Ride?

Paul Ehline, a two-tour Vietnam combat vet, passed away several years ago from Agent Orangerelated cancer. His son, also a Marine and presently a California attorney stood front and center to honor Paul’s legacy. Michael Ehline and several other former enlisted United States Marine vets established the Ride when no one would throw a proper ceremony at the Riverside Veteran’s Memorial for Paul due to the Covid lockdowns.

Special Thanks to Leathernecks LMCI and Marine Riders

As a result, Lytle Creek Firing Line, the Marine Riders, and the Leathernecks M/C, LMCI, and other bikers rode in memory of Sergeant Ehline and all vets with cancer. Lytle Creek and the vets made a 21-gun salute happen as bagpipes blew and the bugler played taps. Out of this event, Michael is now lobbying Congress to open West Coast military bases to the same protections as vets on the east coast under PACT and the Camp Lejeune Justice Act. They also have a fallen rider’s fund for those of you who are interested in a motorcycle raffle to beat cancer. The local Marine ROTC unit will also be there as honor guard for the 21-gun salute. This will be a motorcycle trip you will not soon forget! And since their organization supports safe riding, you know only the most experienced motorcycle riders will lead the way. With so many charities supporting vets at this event, it promises to be a great way for all of us to help each other.

Helping West Coast Vets Stationed at MCAS(H) Tustin, El Toro, and More

The Paul Ehline Riders are helping gather signatures and to comfort others who have lost family from service-related cancer and PTSD. We start early, as it gets hot at the range. But we promise it will be a day filled with camaraderie, excitement and a shared passion for motorcycles. You don’t have to ride to attend. The event coordinators promise to have a healthy flow of vendors and people making food, etc.

For the riders, the event will kick off with a scenic ride through the beautiful San Bernardino mountains, offering participants breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Riders of all levels of experience joined in the fun, making for a diverse and vibrant group of motorcycle enthusiasts.

The event’s highlight was a special tribute to Paul Ehline, now a renowned figure in the motorcycle community, for the work the charity does in his name. Paul Ehline was a skilled and experienced motorcycle rider and a dedicated advocate for motorcyclist safety and serving his country. He was deeply committed to helping injured Marines, riders, Marine Corps League and their families seek justice and fair compensation. The Paul Ehline Ride was a fitting tribute to his memory and his tireless efforts to raise awareness about motorcycle safety and helping homeless vets.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the life and legacy of Paul Ehline with this special event,” said Michael Ehline, the current managing attorney of Ehline Law Firm pushing for this legislation.

“Dad was a remarkable Marine, father, and small businessman. He was also a beloved member of his local motorcycle community in La Quinta, CA. He made a lasting impact on the lives of countless riders, and we are proud to continue his work in advocating for motorcyclist safety.”

The event concluded with a gathering at a local venue, where participants enjoyed food, music, and camaraderie. It should be a day filled with fond memories, new friendships, and a renewed commitment to promoting motorcycle safety in the San Bernardino community all the way to San Diego

PVA expresses its gratitude to all the participants, sponsors, and supporters who promise to make the Paul Ehline Ride a success in fighting Agent Orange cancer. PVA looks forward to continuing its mission of advocating for motorcyclist safety and supporting the motorcycle community through future events, initiatives, and Agent Orange education.
