ESSEX COUNTY, NEW JERSEY – This Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 6PM – 10PM, EYES INC OF NJ and its MOVES program will be hosting its second annual Jazz, Cigars, Whiskey & Wine fundraising gala. We honor those who sacrificed so much for us—our Veterans! The exclusive event will be hosted at the VFW Post 7925, 45 Plymouth Street, Fairfield, New Jersey. The MOVES program was lauded for its exceptional and outstanding work with homeless veterans on August 18, 2022 by Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11), U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) Secretary of Labor, Marty Walsh, and the New Jersey Labor Commissioner, Robert Asaro-Angelo.
PTS and MST (Military Sexual Trauma) are leading factors in suicide among our men and women who served to protect us…our families…our children. EYES INC of NJ and its MOVES (Maximizing Opportunities for Veterans to Employment and Success) program is helping to remediate the issues of PTS and MST leading to high suicide rates among our New Jersey Veterans, by establishing the first and only comprehensive, community-based mental health facility for New Jersey Veterans and their families.
